PTA Membership

The Parent Teacher Association is an organization committed to supporting our remarkable teachers and school administration and talented students. Members of the PTA include parents of MDE students, faculty members and professional staff.

Thank you to all the parent volunteers who have already committed to serving this school year. Your time spent in the classroom, library, one of the many fun and exciting events, or serving on one of the PTA committees, is greatly appreciated.  The financial generosity of our families allows us to better enhance our school, provide educational enrichment, support teacher training opportunities, plan teacher appreciation events and so much more.  We are very grateful for the countless volunteer hours and level of support you give to MDE.

As a PTA member, you have the right to vote on PTA matters at regularly scheduled PTA general meetings, including the annual budget and programs. When you join the MDE PTA, you also receive the weekly newsletter from the PTA President, Christine Williamson, a copy of the MDE Directory and Texas PTA Member benefits.
