Dear Memorial Drive Elementary families,

On behalf of the MDE PTA, I would like to take this opportunity to say Happy 2024!
My name is Christine Williamson, and I am honored to start serving as your PTA
President for the rest of this school year and for the 2024-2025 school year. As we
embark on this journey together, I wanted to take a moment to express my enthusiasm
and anticipation for the year and a half ahead.
Having been an active member of our school community for years, I have witnessed the
transformative power of strong partnerships between parents, teachers, students, and
administrators. In the coming months, you can expect a variety of exciting programs,
events, and activities designed to enhance our children’s school experience. From our
big move back to our new campus to fun-filled fundraisers to enrich educational
programs, we have a dynamic calendar to engage the diverse interests of our school
community.
We love our MDE parent volunteers and we encourage everyone of you to get involved,
share your insight, and contribute your talents to make your child’s years truly
exceptional. Your involvement is what makes our PTA a driving force behind our
school’s success. Whether you have a few hours to spare or are looking to take on a
more significant role, there is a place for you in our PTA family. Please join us for our
monthly General PTA meeting at our temporary campus.
