If you are new to MDE this 2026-27 school year, we are so excited to welcome you and your family through our doors on August 13th! All PTA information and links can always be found on the MDE PTA website (memorialdrivepta.membershiptoolkit.com).
HOW TO STAY CONNECTED:
- Create a Membership Toolkit account (or login and update your account if your previous school used Membership Toolkit). You will utilize this site for many things throughout your time at MDE: to purchase spirit store items, update family info for PTA directory, etc.
- You can find additional information regarding membership toolkit below.
- Questions? Email Melanie Baldridge at webmaster@mdepta.org
- Join the MDE PTA - you can do this starting August 1st! Why Join the PTA?
- Get connected with other parents through our monthly PTA meetings and volunteers opportunities
- Get access to our online and printed PTA Directory (parents & student info)
- Stay informed on the 20+ events our PTA hosts or support at MDE (you will be added to our email list and receive weekly newsletters)
- Access to vote on important items that impact your students, including our PTA budget
- GroupMe App (texting app)
- Typically, there is a grade level boy GroupMe and girl GroupMe that parents use to communicate with each other. You can ask any parent in the grade who is already on the GroupMe to add you or you can ask the room mom for your class to add you (room moms are typically in place by the second week of school). Teachers are not on the GroupMe text chain.
- Follow MDE PTA on Instagram: memorialdrivepta - stay up to date on all our events!
HELPFUL INFO
- At the beginning of the school year, you will keep hearing about the ‘Pony Packet’. This is an online PTA actionable checklist for parents. You will find it on the PTA website starting August 1st.
- Our PTA supports our teachers and school in some amazing ways, plus we host over 20+ events throughout the school year (Book Fair, Fall Festival, Grandparents Day, STEAM Night, etc.). To learn more about our Three Primary Fundraisers and what you are supporting by contributing to those, CLICK HERE.
- Our 2026-27 PTA Calendar has been posted here! Check out all the incredible events we have in store!
- Volunteers: To volunteer on campus during school hours, you are required to register, here. At the Back-to-School Coffee at MDE on August 13th parents can sign-up to be Room Parents, Library Volunteers and Front Desk Volunteers. As each PTA event draws near, we typically send out a Sign-up Genius (via the PTA Newsletter) asking for parent volunteers.
- PTA Directory: Once you join the MDE PTA, you will have access to the online PTA directory and you will receive a printed directory in October. Directory includes parent and student (teacher and grade level) information. Our teachers and staff are not allowed to provide class lists.

More on MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT
- Create a membership toolkit account (if you have never had one before) or log into your membership toolkit account (if your previous school used membership toolkit) and update your information and your student’s information.
- www.memorialdrivepta.membershiptoolkit.com is the website for the MDE PTA. The platform is called Membership Toolkit. This system allows you to sign up for volunteer opportunities, join the PTA, order spirit wear and yearbooks, make a donation, search our student directory and more.
Should my spouse/partner have a separate Membership Toolkit account? What is we want separate accounts
- When possible, we recommend creating a single account so that all information including volunteer signs ups, completed forms and purchases, and directory information is stored in one place. When a primary user creates an account, there is a space to invite other email addresses to access the account. This secondary user will have his or her own login information but also have access to the family account, be listed in the directory and receive communications from your child’s teacher, room parents and the PTA. Both adults on the account will be able to sign up for volunteer opportunities, make purchases and complete forms for that student. Only two adults can be listed on one Membership Toolkit account.
-
For divorced or separated families, one family record can list two separate address and contact details – or each adult can register individually and be listed separately in the student directory. Note that if you do register individually, there may be some forms such as the PTA membership form that everyone will have to complete in order to have full access to the site.
